Jackline Acheampong (born December 16, 1998) better known as Gyakie, is a Ghanaian afrobeat singer and songwriter. He came into the spotlight in 2019 following the release of her debt single, Love is Pretty. Gyakie released his debut project, Seed EP, a five-track EP.

Career
In February 2019, Gyakie released “Love is Pretty,” her debut single, followed by “Never Like This,” which gave her massive recognition in the Ghanaian music industry.
In August 2020, she released the five-track EP Seed. On the Seed EP, the song “Forever” received airplay in Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria.
It topped music charts like the Top 200 Shazam charts and the Top Triller Global charts from Billboard.
In March 2021, Gyakie and Nigerian artist Omah Lay released a remix of “Forever.” She received the emerging lady of the year award that same month at the 2021 3Music Women’s Brunch for the 3Music Awards.
With Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records UK, and Sony Music Africa, she has a global record deal.
Gyakie received the Woman of the Year award for the 3Music Awards 2022 in March 2022 at the 3Music Women’s Luncheon.
Gyakie was a featured guest on the Grammys Herbal Tea and White Sofas Interview in June 2022, a new series where performers discuss their essential backstage items.
In July 2022, she released her second EP, titled “MY DAIRY.” Davido, a musician from Nigeria, appears on the EP.
She has played at important events in Ghana over the past two years, including Rapperholic, Tidal Rave, and Repu Hall Week, among others.
Currently, she is under the management of Flip The Music Entertainment.
Both Red Bull South Africa and Nigeria’s One Tribe Magazine have featured her. She appeared as a guest on the BBC program Focus On Africa.
On well-known music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, Audio Mack, Boomplay, and YouTube, her EP has received a total of eleven million listens.
